Jimmy Stead serves as Chief Consumer Banking and Technology Officer and Group Executive Vice President at Frost Bank. In his role, Jimmy leads Marketing, Technology and the Consumer Line of Business including Retail Banking, Private Client Services, Digital Services and Customer Service. Prior to stepping into his current role in 2017, he served as Director of Digital Services and was part of the original team that brought online banking to Frost.
Drawing on his expertise as a leader in consumer banking and technology, Jimmy is passionate about the role technology plays in improving human-centered experiences for customers. He continues to drive digital banking solutions that put customers at the center, and works toward finding easier and better ways for customers to interact with empathic, knowledgeable Frost employees to help them with their financial lives.
A proud San Antonio native, Jimmy graduated from Central Catholic High School and went on to graduate magna cum laude from The University of Texas in San Antonio in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.
