Jeff Galt is a retired business executive and entrepreneur and longtime philanthropist who has been a part of the San Antonio community for more than twenty years.
Jeff and his wife of more than forty years met when both were earning their MBA’s at the University of California at Berkeley. Together they have raised four children and recently celebrated the birth of their tenth grandchild! Jeff and Jana have supported many local and national non-profits and Jeff has served as chairman of organizations including The DoSeum, City Year San Antonio, and the Masters Leadership Program Alumni Association. He has also served on the SA Symphony Society and Texas Business and Education Coalition.
During his nearly forty-year professional career, Jeff was CEO of three different companies in the education and information industries. He and his family moved to San Antonio in 2003 when he was named CEO of Harcourt Assessment, Inc., and The Psychological Corporation, which published educational and clinical testing products used around the world, with more than 1500 employees and annual revenues of more than $350 million. In 2012 Jeff acquired a logistics and distribution business in Houston which he sold in 2019. Jeff has been a fan of classical music since childhood, inheriting his appreciation for the art form from his mother who was an artist and amateur pianist.
