Inspiring and engaging Bexar County Youth

The Classical Music Institute’s 210 Festival Youth Program presents a distinguished opportunity for students aged 8–18 to explore and refine their talents as performers while cultivating essential musicianship skills. With offerings in voice, strings, and piano, this enriching program runs Monday through Friday from June 9–20, 2025.

The Youth Program aims to ignite a passion for classical music in young minds while fostering a nurturing environment for musical growth. The  program offers a variety of musical activities such as orchestra class, sectionals, chamber music training  (for advanced players), private lessons, interactive workshops, and free access to all CMI events. 210  Artist Faculty will incorporate the El Sistema methodology of training of using music as an instrument  for social transformation. From beginners to advanced players, students will hone their music skills with some of the top artists in the world. The Youth Program concludes with a final concert on June 20 at the Edgewood Theater of Performing Arts.
