CMI 210 FESTIVAL

vOCAL PEDAGOGY WORKSHOP

The CMI 210 Festival Vocal Pedagogy Workshop is designed to expand and refine the knowledge base of professional voice users, not only in Texas but also beyond its borders. This workshop fosters a positive learning environment that benefits both beginners and advanced educators. Participants will engage with foundational concepts in vocal pedagogy, emphasizing an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the singing voice and how that knowledge can be utilized to empower the teacher with effective and efficient teaching techniques.

Informed by the latest scientific research, the workshop offers an affordable opportunity for professional development. Attendees can choose between remote or in-person participation, with high-quality recordings available for those who prefer to learn at their own pace. Texas teachers can earn Continuing Education Credit (CPE) at no extra charge. Whether attending live or accessing recorded sessions, participants can expect a comprehensive and enriching experience.

The event is presented in partnership with Generation NEXT at the Tobin Center, located in downtown San Antonio.
