Andrea (Andy) Fair has worked in the financial services industry for over 24 years. She is currently a Compliance Specialist at Capital Group Companies Global, an investment company. Capital Group, home of the American Funds, has been singularly focused on delivering superior results for longer term investors using high-conviction portfolios, rigorous research, and individual accountability since 1933.
Andy’s responsibilities at work include analyzing business processes, procedures, and controls, delivering a comprehensive, risk-based compliance oversight and reporting program that adheres to federal and state laws governing business processes. She assists with regulatory examinations and external audits, evaluating the data to determine implementation of control enhancements. In addition to her compliance role, she has experience leading activity and social committees. She is also responsible for the planning and execution of various events that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Andy loves residing in downtown San Antonio and experiencing its vibrant city life. She has a 10-year-old pug named Abby. Some of her hobbies include attending concerts for all genres of music, running Rock N Roll half marathons, reading, and yoga. She is passionate about all things music and Halloween.
